The DEUTZ TCD 3.9/4.0 combines outstanding performance with a compact and future-proof design. The water-cooled 4-cylinder in-line engine with turbocharger can be flexibly configured and perfectly adapted to the requirements of a wide range of applications.

More power than a 4.1-liter engine in the compact size of a 3.6-liter model: The TCD 3.9/4.0 offers a wide power range with two variants (75–110 kW & 110–130 kW). It also delivers high efficiency and performance in continuous operation under full load – perfectly suited for many applications.

Thanks to its flexible configurability, the TCD 3.9/4.0 can be optimally integrated into modern machine concepts. From the variable engine design to the compact power pack with integrated cooling and exhaust aftertreatment, everything has been tested, is ready for installation, and is designed for maximum reliability with minimum effort.

Certified to EU Stage V and US Tier 4 with DVERT®, selective catalytic reduction (SCR), and diesel particulate filter (DPF). The low-emission engine platform can also be easily extended to other fuels (ReFuels, H2, etc.) and is suitable for HVO operation.

COMPACT

FIT FOR SIMPLE COOLING

The TCD3.9/4.0 is designed without exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), which simplifies the engine architecture. Low maintenance and low cooling requirements reduce peripheral engine costs and ensure more reliable engine performance.
